This section lists the HSCL 04xx error codes.

Note: The following error messages and recovery actions might include procedures that are not available on the DS8000® management console. If in doubt, contact the next level of support. If you are instructed to shut down the management console, then you must first verify that the customer is not currently performing DS8000 actions through the management console ESSNI connection.

0400 Failed to determine the minimum amount of memory required for the amount of maximum specified

0401 Failed to determine the valid 5250 CPW range with the amount of processing given.

0402 There is insufficient amount of system firmware memory to perform this task. In order to perform this task, the managed system needs an additional {0} MB of memory. Free memory resources by removing memory through dynamic logical partitioning or deletions of unused partitions. The managed system needs additional memory. Remove memory through dynamic logical partitioning or deleting unused partitions to free memory resources.
