This section lists the HSCL 06xx error codes.

Note: The following error messages and recovery actions might include procedures that are not available on the DS8000® management console. If in doubt, contact the next level of support. If you are instructed to shut down the management console, then you must first verify that the customer is not currently performing DS8000 actions through the management console ESSNI connection.

0605 The initialize dump request failed because the managed system is already in the process of creating a dump of the specified type. The keylock position of the managed system needs to be set to manual mode.
0607 Dump partition does not exist.
  1. Ensure that the dump partition has been mounted.
  2. Retry the operation.

0608 Could not mount the dump partition.

0611 Could not read dump as a temporary file.

062D The partition is currently in a state of Running, Initializing or Open Firmware, and cannot be deleted.
A partition cannot be deleted when it is in
Running, Initializing, or Open Firmware state.
