HSCL 0Dxx

This section lists the HSCL 0Dxx error codes.

Note: The following error messages and recovery actions might include procedures that are not available on the DS8000® management console. If in doubt, contact the next level of support. If you are instructed to shut down the management console, then you must first verify that the customer is not currently performing DS8000 actions through the management console ESSNI connection.

0DB2 An operating system reset can be issued for a logical partition only if the partition is in the running or starting state.
  1. Refresh the graphical user interface. See MAP6620 Rebuilding managed system information for details.
  2. Try the task again.

0DB4 An Operating System Shutdown can not be performed because the operating system image running does not support remote execution of this task from the management console.
  1. Ensure the network connection between partition and management console is working.
  2. Rebuild the management console.
  3. If the problem persists, contact your next level of support.
0DB5 An Operating System Shutdown can be issued for a logical partition only if the partition is in the Running state. A partition must be in the Running state in order for an operating system shutdown operation to be performed.
  1. Ensure that the partition's state is Running, and try the task again.
  2. If your partition is in a state other than Running, but you are sure that the partition is in fact running, rebuild the managed system. See MAP6620 Rebuilding managed system information for details.
  3. Retry the operation.
  4. If the problem persists, contact your next level of support.
0DB7 Fail to shutdown partition through operation system command due to following reasons:{0}.
  1. Ensure that the network between the management console and the partition is working.
  2. Retry the operation.
  3. If the problem persists, contact your next level of support.
