HSCL 13xx

This section lists the HSCL 13xx error codes.

Note: The following error messages and recovery actions might include procedures that are not available on the DS8000® management console. If in doubt, contact the next level of support. If you are instructed to shut down the management console, then you must first verify that the customer is not currently performing DS8000 actions through the management console ESSNI connection.

Error code Message Recovery action
138F Could not get the management console host name. Check the network settings within the system configuration.
  1. Check the network setting under system configuration, and then try the task again.
  2. If the problem persists, contact your next level of support.
1393 Could not load the list of IBM PC product names.
  1. Shut down and restart the management console.
  2. If the problem persists, contact your next level of support.
1395 Could not launch the Confirmation dialog. Try again.
  1. Refresh the graphical user interface. See MAP6620 Rebuilding managed system information for details.
  2. Try the task again.
  3. Log off and then log back onto the management console and try the operation again.
  4. If the problem persists, contact your next level of support.
1397 Could not determine the version of the firmware that is loaded on the service processor.
  1. Retry the operation.
  2. If the problem persists, contact your next level of support.
1398 Could not determine what version of service processor firmware is compatible with this version of the management console. Check the version of your managed system and the management console version first with Administration staff. Then determine the compatibility from the document, if they do match.
1399 The managed system does not have Virtual IO Server capability. There is no recovery action necessary.
