HSCL 14xx

This section lists the HSCL 14xx error codes.

Note: The following error messages and recovery actions might include procedures that are not available on the DS8000® management console. If in doubt, contact the next level of support. If you are instructed to shut down the management console, then you must first verify that the customer is not currently performing DS8000 actions through the management console ESSNI connection.

Error code Message Recovery action
1400 The firmware operation failed. Try the task again. If the problem persists, contact your next level of support.
1401 An error was detected using the current management console's network configuration. A duplicate IP address and system hostname might be the cause of this problem. Verify this system's network settings via the 'Customize Network Settings' task. This management console's network interface has been temporarily disabled and the hostname set to 'localhost.localdomain'.
  1. Ensure the network setting is correct.
  2. If the problem persists, contact your next level of support.
1402 This operation failed due to following reasons: {0}.  
1403 Could not display the {0} dialog. Try the operation again.
  1. Refresh the graphical user interface. See MAP6620 Rebuilding managed system information for details.
  2. Retry the operation.
  3. If it still fails, log off and then log back onto the management console and try the operation again.
  4. If the problem persists, contact your next level of support.
1450 There is an insufficient number of unallocated processors to perform the operation.

1451 Attempted to allocate a number of processors below the minimum processor setting.

1453 There is an insufficient amount of unallocated processing units to perform the operation.
