There is a bridge error on the PCI device.

Before you begin

Note: Storage complex repair actions must always be managed from the management console. To replace any FRUs identified in this procedure, use Storage Facility Management > storage facility > Exchange Parts. If the FRUs are listed in this or another Serviceable Event, select them from there.

Procedure

  1. Call your next level of support for assistance. This problem might be resolved by installing the latest version of Licensed Internal Code (LIC).
  2. If a later version of LIC does not exist:
    1. If the location code identifies a slot:
      1. Replace the adapter in that slot.
      2. If the problem is not resolved, replace the backplane assembly that contains the slot in which the adapter was plugged.
    2. If the location code identifies a backplane, replace the backplane.
