Values normally found in non-volatile storage that point to the
location of an operating system were not found. If you have just replaced
the Service Processor card or the Battery on the Service Processor card, the
replacement procedure should have directed you to restore the NVRAM data.
Before you begin
Note: Storage complex repair actions must always be managed from the
management console. To replace any FRUs identified in this procedure, use . If the FRUs are listed in
this or another Serviceable Event, select them from there.
Procedure
- Have you just replaced the Service Processor or the Battery in
the Service Processor?
- Yes, go to step 2.
- No, go to step 3.
- Did you restore the NVRAM data as part of the remove/replace
procedure?
- Yes, this error can be ignored unless it persists. If it persists,
go to step 3.
- No, complete the remove/replace procedure by restoring the NVRAM data.
- Replace the part listed in Table 1.
