MAP2341 Codes on the DC-UPS DSU status display
The DC-UPS status display on the front of the DC-UPS indicates status and error conditions. Error conditions that are displayed create serviceable events. Use the serviceable events to guide the repair.
MAP2341 Section-1
Procedure
- The DC-UPS is displaying an error code, which is defined in Table 1. A serviceable event is created unless the DC-UPS is in a rack that is not yet fully installed.
-
During DC-UPS power on, the DC-UPS status display shows the DC-UPS firmware level and DC-UPS
identification. DC-UPS firmware level is also available through the management console utilities to
display the installed code levels.
The following sequence of characters is displayed:
XX > yy > zz > DuTable 1. DC-UPS firmware and identification codes Code Description of code XX Beginning of display sequence yy Firmware revision level, first two characters zz Firmware revision level, last two characters Du DC-UPS location code: - D1 is DC-UPS location E1
- D2 is DC-UPS location E2
-
After DC-UPS power on, the status display is normally blank.
