Procedure
- Was the FRU called out before
this procedure a memory DIMM (Un-P2-C1-Cx or Un-P2-C2-Cx)?
- No: go to step 10.
- Yes: A memory DIMM attention line has an error. Continue to the next step.
- Replace the CEC enclosure service processor card (Un-P1-C11) from the same CEC enclosure as the memory DIMM.
- Perform a slow boot. See MAP4820 Performing a slow boot of a CEC enclosure.
- Does the problem persist?
- No: This ends the procedure.
- Yes: Continue to the next step.
- Replace the CEC enclosure system processor card (P2-C1 or P2-C2) on which you previously replaced memory DIMMs.
- Perform a slow boot.
- Does the problem persist?
- No: This ends the procedure.
- Yes: Continue to the next step.
- Replace the CEC enclosure I/O backplane assembly (P1) from the same CEC enclosure as the memory DIMM.
- Perform a slow boot.
- Was the FRU called
out before this procedure a CEC enclosure system processor card (P2-C1
or P2-C2) or GX adapter card (P1-C8 or P1-C9)?
- No: Go to step 16.
- Yes: A CEC enclosure system processor card or GX adapter card attention line has an error. Continue to the next step.
- Replace the CEC enclosure service processor card (P1-C11) from the CEC enclosure as the CEC enclosure system processor card or GX adapter card.
- Perform a slow boot.
- Does the problem persist?
- No: This ends the procedure.
- Yes: Continue to the next step.
- Replace the CEC enclosure I/O backplane assembly (Un-P1) from the same CEC enclosure drawer as the CEC enclosure system processor card or GX adapter card.
- Perform a slow boot. See MAP4820 Performing a slow boot of a CEC enclosure. This ends the procedure.
- Was the FRU called out before
this the CEC enclosure I/O backplane assembly (Un-P1)?
- No: Contact your next level of support. This ends the procedure.
- Yes: A P5IOC2 attention line has an error. Continue to the next step.
- Replace the CEC enclosure service processor card (P1-C11) from the CEC enclosure as the CEC enclosure I/O backplane assembly.
- Perform a slow boot. This ends the procedure.
