the instructions to isolate the failure.
- Was a problem found?
- Is the service processor with the missing connection
present in the topology?
- Yes, the problem was temporary and has resolved itself. This ends
the procedure.
- No, go to step 4.
- Is the management console that
reported the connection errors also reporting a hardware error with a network
adapter?
- Yes, service this network adapter error. This ends the procedure.
- No, go to step 5.
- Verify that the service processor with a missing connection
is powered on and that its Ethernet connections are secure and functioning.
Does the problem persist?
- Yes, call your next level of support for assistance. This ends
the procedure.
- No, this ends the procedure.
