Procedure

  1. The last operational RPC card is not fenced even if it has a failure. The other RPC card should already be fenced and have a related serviceable event.
  2. Do not attempt to repair the other RPC card as both RPC cards have problems, and the storage facility might power off unexpectedly. Contact your next level of support. Development assistance will be required to bring both RPC cards online and fully operational.

Procedure

  1. Replace the RPC card by selecting the RPC card in the FRU list and doing a normal repair action.
  2. After the repair has been successfully completed, display open serviceable events.

    Are there any open serviceable events with SRC BE192563, BE192565 or BE192567?

    • Yes, exit this MAP procedure and repair the serviceable event now. Use it to replace the partner RPC card that is listed.
    • No, both RPC cards are functional, exit this MAP procedure.

The RPC card with an error that is not fenced is listed in the FRU list of the BE192563, BE192565 or BE192567 serviceable event.

Procedure

  1. The RPC card in the FRU list is the last operational RPC card and is not fenced even if it has a failure. The other RPC card should already either be fenced and have a related serviceable event or in service mode.
  2. Display open serviceable events.

    Are there any open serviceable events with SRC BE192562, BE192564 or BE192566?

    • Yes, go to MAP2212 Section-4. You will exit out of the serviceable event that sent you here, so you can repair the other serviceable event first.
    • No, the RPC card in the serviceable event FRU list that sent you here must be replaced. Exit this MAP procedure and do a normal repair of that serviceable event.
