About this task

This MAP is called for a concurrent code load (CCL) update that has been automatically suspended. The other serviceable events will be repaired first, and then this MAP will be used last. The information in this serviceable event will be used by the next level of support if the repair cannot be completed and the next level of support is called.

Procedure

  1. Were you sent here by MAP4A30 or MAP4A40?
    • Yes, go to step 5.
    • No, go to the next step.
  2. Is there an open serviceable event with an SRC of BE9CFFFE?
    • Yes, exit this MAP now. Leave the serviceable event that sent you here in open status. Continue the repair by using the serviceable event with the SRC of BE9CFFFE.
    • No, go to the next step.
  3. Is there another serviceable event that has MAP4A30 or MAP4A40 in the FRU list?
    • Yes, exit this MAP and go repair it first. The serviceable event guides you to return to this MAP later.
    • No, go to the next step.
  4. Does the serviceable event have an SRC of BE9C4FE2?
  5. Is there an additional serviceable event?
    • Yes, contact your next level of support. (MAP4A30 or MAP4A40 should have repaired all other serviceable events.)
    • No, exit this MAP, close the serviceable event that sent you here, and return to the MAP that sent you here.

MAP4A50 Section-2

About this task

There is an error powering off the managed system due to a CEC being in a state unknown to code load. Follow these instructions to collect an FSP dump.

Procedure

  1. Create Service Processor card Dump.
    1. From the navigation area, click Storage Facility Management > storage facility > Server View.
    2. From the right work area, select the CEC.
    3. From the bottom Task area, click Serviceability > Manage Dumps. The Manage Dumps window opens.
    4. From the menu bar, select Action > Initiate Service Processor Dump > Initiate System Controller Dump. The Initiate System Controller Dump window opens.
    5. Follow the instructions and click OK.
    6. After the action starts running, it will take several minutes for the action to complete. Click Refresh to get the latest dump status.
  2. Offload Service Processor card Dump.
    1. Select the FSP dump from the Manage Dumps window.
    2. From the menu bar, select Selected > Call Home Dump....
  3. Contact your next level of support.
